Krill oil is extracted from tiny shrimp-like crustaceans – Antarctic krill. They are caught in the cold waters of South Ocean, the cleanest sea waters on earth. Since they are at the bottom of the food chain, they aren’t laden with heavy metals and other toxic chemicals.

An important aspect of krill oil is its sustainable production – the krill reproduce very fast. Aside from that, they are so abundant that there is no danger of upsetting the natural balance.
